A TRAFFIC CIRCLE IS COMING TO YOUR STREET
New roundabouts create confusion, anger
By Gary Rennie, The Windsor Star July 29, 2009
TECUMSEH, Ont. -- The town's new mini-roundabouts on Brighton Road
are confusing some surprised drivers and angering others…
… after separate accidents at the roundabouts in which an elderly driver
and a transport truck both drove right over them rather than around
them, the town is embarking on an educational campaign to better
  explain them.
THE CITY OF WINDSOR PLANS TO BUILD 6 OF THESE
CIRCLES ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE AT:
- ROSSINI
- BUCKINGHAM
- ST. LOUIS
- JEFFERSON
- EASTLAWN
- ST. ROSE
These circles will draw more traffic down your street since it will be easier for cars to access Riverside Drive at all these intersections.
Stop Signs will be Replaced by YIELD SIGNS, cars will no longer have to stop at the end of your street.
Pedestrians attempting to cross will be endangered.
We are against more black asphalt, unnecessary expense and the bleak City of Windsor vision of Riverside Drive as a traffic corridor.
Show your support while we still have a chance for a Neighborhood, Pedestrian and Cyclist friendly Vision of Riverside Drive.
